The Motor Insurers Bureau If you are issuing costs only proceedings against an uninsured driver don’t forget the rules of service, specific to the MIB uninsured drivers’ agreement, will apply. The MIB have to be notified within 7 days of commencement of proceedings against an uninsured driver. Also, always check whether they have requested that they be added as Defendants on issue of proceedings.

 Public Liability Matters

These include cases where a member of the public is injured as a result of using a company’s product or premises. Examples would include tripping on a cracked floor tile in a shop and suffering injury. (Commonly these are known as ‘slip and trip’ cases.)
